Dear colleagues and Friends,
While the pro-Israeli Western media have been engaged in finding ways
and means to blame the Palestinian leadership and dehumanize the
Palestinian revolt, the editors of the Toronto-based journal THE ARAB
WORLD GEOGRAPHER have commissioned nine short articles from well-known
scholars. These are now at our website.
http://www.frw.uva.nl/ggct/awg
The articles were written during the second week of the Intifada and are
valuable material for students and those who wish to acquire knowledge on
the current crisis in Palestine that is more than cheap predictable
discourse or slanted propaganda.
We encourage you to visit this website and order the special issue of
AWG that will contain these essays and many other articles (see table of
contents below). Enlighten your own perspective on the bloody road that
now Palestinians are now moving down in the struggle toward statehood.
With best wishes,
Professor Ghazi Falah
AWG, Editor-in-Chief
