Catching the Waves--K Waves and Third Waves, That Is!

Good day, all!

Is anybody out there immediately aware of any scholarly attempt to detect
an empirical relationship between the economic long wave as theorized by
Kondratieff, Schumpeter, and others, and Samuel P. Huntington's so-called
"waves" of democratization?

If so, citations would be appreciated.
