Re: population: real problem, or capitalist plot?

I'm new on the list, so except for my college days reading Wallerstein
and C. Chase-Dunn and such, I probably will take a while to say anything but
for now, a question.
I'll take, Andrew at his word, he is not a Leninist, but that language
about "red baiting" only comes from folks, in my experience, that are in or
around the periphery of the CPUSA. People that used to hide behind the label
of "progressive". Fooled no one, esp. the real red-baiters, the
McCarthyites.
If Richard, is making objections, from any of the standard anti-Stalinist
left positions, like Trotskyism, left social democracy, anarchism (I dunno,
I'll review the archives), that is a different kettle of fish, from a
right-wing or Cold War Liberal perspective.
And "classism". Retire that multiculti jargon. I'm still enough of a
marxist, that that reduces class domination and exploitation, to an
attitutinal level to be massaged by corporate diversity consultants and NGO
liberals.

P.S. I sent this to Andrew too, as well as the csf.colorado.edu address,
because my posts to another csf list, the psn list, never seem to get routed
right. I've even installed a traceroute program, Sam Spade Version 1.14, to
diagnose, to figure out why the "virtual postmaster" always returns my
e-mail to Progessive Sociologists Network <psn@csf.colorado.edu>. This
happen to other folks?
