Unlike our fellow carnivores, we could always reach further down the food
chain. Bring on the plankton-burgers! I'm still waiting for NASA to launch
a manned mission to discover intelligent life on Planet Earth, though.

Incidentally, how's Malaysia doing these days? Those exchange controls and
Japanese/Singaporean bailout funds do seem to be doing the trick. Any
further talk about an Asian common currency? I noticed the Government
forwarded a call for an ASEAN currency to the IMF, undoubtedly more as a
rhetorical ploy than anything else
(http://www.neac.gov.my/neac/statements/11bthkrecovery.shtml has the
details), but one must assume that Japan has taken the hint and is doing
feasability studies as we speak.
