If you define Socialism as a synonym to Marxism, then it is not a part of
Keynesianism.
But if Socialism means concern for the welfare of the whole Society, of
which workers are only a part, even if a very important one, then it is
true that Keynesianism wants to combine the productiveness of capitalism
and the continued validity of democratic procedures and checks and
balances, with socialist concerns for a world-wide, more equitable
distribution of wealth, avoidance of unemployment and rising prosperity for
everyone.
But whatever your definition, your opposition to Keynesianism in favor of
waiting for a democratic version of Marxism, means preferring a dream that
has never before worked and probably cannot work ever, to a system that has
been very successful in the past and would be relatively easy to carry out
again.
