        Paul:
Just think that it is possible to have a good "civil servants" if
we improve Democratic procedures and institutions, and if we are capable to
instruct, politically, the people . And I think that the technological
advances are doing it possible...
        Best wishes,

Asunto: GLOBAL KEYNESIANISM

Is KEYNESIANISM a variety of Socialism, as Gernot Kohler thinks or is it
Capitalism, according to Andrew Austin It depends on definitions:
If Socialism implies central control of all or almost all means of
production and central planning of most economic activities, then
Keynesianism is not socialistic.
If capitalism means that all or almost all economic decisions must be made
by the the market (Laissez faire, laissez passer), then Keynesianism is not
capitalistic.
Why cant you accept the fact that Keynesianism tries to combine the best
features of both systems and to avoid their greatest pitfalls?

Many people probably agree, that on principle, Keynesianism could solve
many of our Society's gravest problems, if- and that is a big if - it finds
ways to attract and retain a significant number of efficient an
incorruptible civil servants. I therefore again invite the members of this
group to contribute ideas on this grave practical problem.
