Correction to PEWSNEWS

Patricio Korzeniewica, secy treas of PEWS asked me to forward the
following--this is relevant to members of Political Economy of the
World-System, section of American Sociological Association -- all others
can <del> now.

I put it on three lists: WSN, PEWS list from ASA, and PEWS-Announce from
ASA, so some of you will get it three times--sorry, but did not want to
miss anyone.

It has come to my attention that I made a mistake in the latest issue of
PEWS News, and listed Robert Schaeffer instead of Alvin So as the third
member of the 1999 Terence K. Hopkins Dissertation Award committee (the
members of the committee were Beverly Silver, David Smith, and Alvin So).
My apologies to those concerned for the mistake.
