The History Department of the University of Scranton seeks candidates for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor beginning in September 2000. PhD and teaching experience is required. Responsibilities include teaching courses in Latin American history and participation in development of a new interdisciplinary program in Latin American studies. Additional interests in areas such as Asian, African, Middle Eastern or gender history would be helpful.
