Perhaps I was too quick to condemn the contemporary left for failing to
act. I meant no offense. Nonetheless, it seems that there are times
to sit back and consider how intricate and complex the world is,
other times when action is called for. As I understood the
original posting regarding Pinochet, and I quote:
"A quarter of a century later, the U.S. government must acknowledge
its responsibility for what happened in Chile by filing its own
request for the extradition of Mr. Pinochet, to stand trial here
for the murder of U.S. citizens."
Again, that seems like a "no brainer" to me.
